Here is a new painting that I am working on. It is of a beautiful crystal lotus bowl filled with blush camellias that bloomed in my garden last November. It is about 30% finished. Lots of work to do yet, but thought I post a few progress photos as I go along.
I recently attended a 4 day workshop in Columbia, Maryland with Paul Jackson. It was a great experience. There were at least 20 of my fellow artists from the Baltimore Watercolor Society and we all painted the same painting from Paul’s beautiful photo. Although all paintings were the same subject, there were 20 different paintings. All beautiful clear colored glass containers. I learned a lot and am applying new skills to my repertoire.
